De TVS-882ST2 wordt aangedreven door een Intel® 6e Generatie Core™ i5 Quad-core processor met AES-NI hardware-encryptie en biedt een Thunderbolt™ 2/NAS/iSCSI SAN drievoudige oplossing. Met Thunderbolt™ 2, 10GbE, USB 3.1 Type-C + Type-A 10Gbps, en 4K output, biedt het de prestaties en connectiviteit voor kleine kantoren en studio’s om hun business naar het volgende niveau te tillen. Met de softwarematige Thunderbolt-to-Ethernet (T2E) functie kunnen ook computers voorzien van Thunderbolt toegang hebben tot Ethernet-netwerken door deze te koppelen aan de TVS-882ST2.
